New Goalball Club

The Federation of Disability Sports Organisations, in partnership with Kirklees Council, is in the process of setting up a new Goalball Club. (Goalball is a game played by Visually Impaired Players, although sighted players are also welcome). The target age group for the new club will be age 14+, although if there is sufficient interest, a junior section may also be set up.

The meeting will be to discuss the club, how it will run, funding,  venues, coaches etc. We will also look to formally agree the constitution of the club, and elect Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary, as well as Committee Members.

When: 17 January 2013 18:30-20:30  Where: John Smiths Stadium, Huddersfield (Please report to the Swimming Pool reception)

If you have any interest in being involved in this exciting new club, either as a player. Coach, volunteer or parent/ carer of a player, please come along.

NB It is important that you let us know that you are attending, so that we can ensure that we have an appropriate room. Please feel free to share these details with people who may be interested. I look forward to seeing you in January.
