Special Educational Needs (SEN) laws are changing in September. IPSEA is a national charity providing free legally based advice to families who have children with special educational needs.
Amongst the wealth of information they provide on their website, they have produced a ‘myth busting’ information sheet about the new legislation. This includes topics such as:
- Parental involvement in decisions about children over 16yrs
- Direct Payments
- The maximum age up to which young people will have an Education, Health & Care Plan.
