An inclusive tennis event is taking place at Greenhead park on 22nd June 2016 between 10am – 2pm, as part of Learning Disability Week.
This is a great opportunity to try out tennis and learn some new skills.
Inclusive tennis is about making tennis available to everyone. It’s about creating awareness of tennis as a great way to keep fit and have fun, no matter what age you are, your tennis ability or other challenges you face.
Qualified coaches will be leading the tennis activities alongside volunteers who may also lead multi-sport activities.
Why not bring a picnic along to enjoy in the park, and have a chat to some of the stall holders when you’re not holding your racket!
Facilities
There are toilets and two cafes situated in the park itself which are available for public use.
