Calling all primary teachers or those with an education background
There is a consultation out at the moment from the Department for Education about assessments in primary school and another one focussing on the outcomes following on from the Rochford Review last year for those working at below the levels of usual primary age assessment. PCAN can comment on this as an organisation (you are free to comment as an individual if you wish). If you want your views to be included as PCAN views then please read the document and pass on any comments to Johanna@pcankirklees.org by Thursday 15th June. The consultation can be found at www.gov.uk and search department for education consultations (the one you want requires you to “see more consultations” they only show the 2 latest ones”. When you send your comments please say whether they refer to the general consultation or the Rochford Review and read the questions the DfE ask so you can let me know what you want PCAN to say.
