It took nearly 10 years campaigning to get here but the result is fantastic and should put Leeds city on the map of equality and diversity.
Changing Places are toilet/changing facilities for people with profound and multiple disabilities. They are fitted with specialist equipment such as hoist, changing bench, and provide sufficient pace for two carers and wheelchair.

It is also great news that 5 more Changing Places will be opening between now and 2013 (including the new Leeds Arena and Trinity Shopping Mall in the city centre).
Please pass this information on and encourage children, young people, adults and their families & carers to make a good use of these facilities. I would be a shame if they are not in use because people are not aware of their existence and locality.
