Experienced workers will listen to your concerns providing information, advice and self-help resources where they can. Huddersfield Support Group for Autism: The Huddersfield Support Group for Autism (HSGA) was set up in February 1992 and has held meetings at regular intervals since then. It aims to offer help and advice to families living with Autism, including Aspergers syndrome and Pathological Demand Avoidance syndrome (PDA). A confirmed diagnosis of ASD is not needed to join the group
KIAS: (formerly known as Parent Partnership Service) is a statutory, free, impartial and confidential service, working with Parents/Carers, Children and Young People.
The service offers information, advice and support relating to a child or young person’s Special Educational Needs and/or disability and is available to anybody living within the Kirklees area. (A child or young person means aged 0-25 years).
