Kirklees deaf children’s society have just announced their next event. They are going Bowling at UK superbowl on Leeds Road on the 3rd of March 6-7.30pm. Cost is £2 per child including Bowling, Chip butty, and drink.

Vive stars holiday activities for children with additional needs and their siblings

Vive Stars are holding a holiday club at the quarry hill centre in  Almondbury 10 -3 21st to 23rd Feb. the cost is £15 /day (£40 for 3 days) for the first child reduced to £10/day (£25 for 3 days) for the second child and third child is free. The age range is 8-12 and although over 12’s can be accommodated unfortunately under 8’s cannot due to ofsted regulations. Please contact them for more details.

Vive Stars activity club for children with additional needs and their siblings

The poster below is about an afterschool club running 5.30 til 7pm Mondays at almondbury sports centre and Wednesdays at the options centre in Dewsbury. The cost is £3 per child per session and the age range is 8-12 although this is flexible. Please ring them for more information.

Eureka super club dates Jan-June

SUPER Club dates

Here are the all important Super Sunday and Holiday Club dates for the first half of 2017. Remember, places are free and MUST be booked in advance..

Clubs run from 10am – 12pm with a special theme for each club, including activities and gallery exploration time:

  • Sunday 22 January: Autism Primary age group
  • Sunday 5 February: Hearing Impaired
  • Sunday 26 March: Down syndrome
  • Tuesday 4 April: Holiday Club for children with autism
  • Tuesday 11 April: Holiday Club for disabled children aged 3 – 11 years
  • Wednesday 19 April: Holiday Club for disabled children aged 3 – 11 years
  • Sunday 6 May: Visually impaired
  • Sunday 11 June: Autism Early Years
To book, please call 01422 330069 – we don’t accept bookings by email. All our clubs are FREE and are very popular so please let us know if you have booked but aren’t able to make it for any reason – that means we can offer your place to a family on our waiting list.

Oh, and all families that attend get a free Eureka! Annual Pass – great huh?

Training and events for Carers in Kirklees
