West End Park Junior Football Club (based in Cleckheaton) are running a disability football session aimed at children aged 8 – 16 starting Saturday 14th November.
Although it is detailed as being aimed at players aged 8-16 there will be an opportunity to cater for players younger than 8 so they are also urged to come along.

If you have ever been interested in developing your artistic talent you might be interested in attending classes being offered by Creative Minds at Batley Girls High School.
Sessions cost £3 each (payable in advance as a block of sessions) and include topics such as digital photography, textiles, exploring art, etc.

You are invited to the NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group’s public engagement event to be held on Wednesday, 9 December 2015 from 10:00 to 12:00pm at Batley Town Hall , Market Place, WF17 5DA, Batley.
NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding the event as an opportunity to hear about the work that the CCG has been progressing and the work which the CCG plans to do next year. Their plans will focus on how they will respond to the challenges they face to continue to provide local services within decreasing resources. This event will build on the discussions which have been held at previous engagement events.
As well as hearing the presentations, you will be able to participate in discussions which will focus on the areas they plan to make changes to ensure they are able to future proof healthcare services in North Kirklees. The presentations will be on a number of areas including GP and hospital services.

Rachael Reynolds, a parent member of KDCS who is also deaf herself, will be coming. She will be bringing her trainee ‘Service Hearing Dog’ puppy called Gracie. Please come and bring your children who would be interested to meet Gracie. (Refreshments will be provided.)
There will be a short business meeting during the evening. Please attend so that you can let the society know what activities and events you and your family would like to do with KDCS.

Kirklees Council is holding its third annual Kirklees Autism Show. This year the event is being held at the John Smith Stadium on Wednesday, 11 November 2015 from 1pm-5pm.
There will be an opportunity to speak to professionals to find out more about things that are important to people on the autism spectrum, such as employment, transition, housing, leisure activities, diagnosis, activities, education and much more.
