Every Disabled Child Matters (EDCM) is the national campaign fighting for rights and justice for disabled children. It is a consortium campaign run by four national organisations – Contact a Family, the Council for Disabled Children, Mencap and the Special Educational Consortium.
Real experiences told by disabled young people and their families are vital for EDCM to show the Government and the public the reality of their lives.
EDCM is asking for supporters to tell them your story about what’s happening that makes it harder or easier for you to live an ordinary life. They would like to know things like:
• How have cuts to local services impacted you?
• What are your concerns about changes to disability benefits?
• What are your day-to-day experiences and what has been done that has helped you?
If you would like to help them with their media work and tell your story to a wider audience please complete their media form.
Please return any forms to info@edcm.org.uk or by post to EDCM, 8 Wakley Street, London, EC1V 7QE.
EDCM promise to keep the information you’ve provided on file and contact you if they might be able to use your case study in reports or media work.
