South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is co-hosting a conference with the University of Huddersfield that explores the topic of spirituality, its use in healthcare and the implications for integrating this into practice.

Time: 9.30-4.30
Key note speakers include:
- Dr Sarah Eagger, consultant psychiatrist and executive member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Special Interest Group in Spirituality,
- Mike Gartland, head of pastoral and spiritual care at the Trust
During the conference, the Trust will also be sharing more information about Spirit in Mind – an innovative project that brings together community based spiritual organisations in collaboration with the Trust.
If you have an interest in spirituality and its implications for healthcare, you may be interested to attend. It’s free to attend for NHS staff and SWYPFT service users and carers. For all others there is a £25 fee. Booking is essential.
